The Equity in Safety report is out!

For too long, women have been forced to wear ill-fitting PPE—putting their safety, comfort, and careers at risk. The reality is clear: PPE designed for women is still not widely available, leaving many without the protection they need.

That’s why we took action.

Juno Jones Safety Boots, The Safety Rack, and AWSAM, the Alliance of Women’s Safety Apparel Manufacturers, came together to amplify women's voices in industries where safety should never be compromised. We partnered with women’s groups worldwide to launch #MyBodyMyPPE, a global movement dedicated to exposing women's challenges with improper PPE and demanding real industry change. “The women’s PPE movement, which has been bubbling under the surface for years, has finally erupted with a vengeance. Women’s PPE now exists, and employers should be providing it. This is why we started Juno Jones, and why we launched this movement,” said Emily Soloby, founder of Juno Jones Safety Boots.

Through #MyBodyMyPPE, we encouraged women to share their stories, using the hashtag. Over 500 women from many countries filled out the survey, gave their input on the questions, and shared their stories of ill-fitting PPE at their job sites, which contributed to the Equity in Safety report. The results revealed a staggering truth: 70.4% of women don’t have access to female-specific PPE. This isn’t just an oversight—it’s a systemic failure that puts women at risk every day.

Through #MyBodyMyPPE, women shared their stories, raised awareness, and made it clear—change is long overdue. The fight for equitable safety continues, and we won’t stop until properly fitting PPE is the standard, not the exception.

Inside the report you’ll find:

✅ Key findings from industry professionals and workers

✅ The real impact of poorly fitted PPE on women’s safety

✅ Actionable recommendations for employers and manufacturers

Every voice matters, and every data point helps shape a future where properly fitting PPE is the standard, not the exception.
